Born and raised in Minnesota, I grew up chasing nature with a camera. To me, nothing is more therapeutic than a vacation in the wilderness.
When I was a teenager, the only thing I seemed to care about was skateboarding. It stuck with me and I developed a love for photographing skateboarders and the unique culture that surrounds the sport. I still skate as much as possible.
When I moved to Minneapolis, I found inspiration in architecture and began photographing cityscapes. The sun setting over the skyline gets me every time.
Through my journey my fascination with light soon led me to lighting in a studio. The first time I used studio lights opened my eyes to the possibilities that were ahead.
