I am a Minneapolis based photographer who lives between three countries on two continents.
People, music, and nature inspire me. I am fluent in making mistakes and being understood in 4 languages other than English. I am an avid student of history and culture. I discovered a talent for image making ten years ago while witnessing a revolution. I enjoy using the lens as a window on the past, and am passionate about creating scenes with a timeless quality. Car camping, travel and backcountry hiking rejuvenate the soul. I play the drums in a folk-polka-rock band. Raising children has given me a legitimate reason to be an insomniac, or to practice late night creative mania. . . Zen in the modern age means practicing meditation for a few seconds multiple times a day. My most cherished pastime is grilling shashlyk and feasting with friends. . . look it up. It’s delicious! All of this and more is part of me as a photographer!
“A zen master’s life is one continuous mistake.”
