I grew up in the coast of Acapulco, Mexico, and moved to the US in 2008 as an international student to become fluent in my 2nd language. In my last semester of my liberal arts degree, I took a photography class because a teacher dropped me from an online English class. Then the photobug bit me and it became a never ending passion for capturing a fraction of time. I decided to change my life path from architecture to photography, and follow my calling. I fell in love with the studio strobes, and the fact that I was able control light. Now here I am, Jose Castano Villalobos, a commercial advertising photographer.
